[...] I am pretty jealous, I really wish there had been a Capricorn needlepoint to go with it so we could have a his and hers! Oh well, I do have an awesome Enid Collins zodiac bag, so I should just count my blessings. Maybe one day I will stitch up a Capricorn piece to go with that amazing crab, I have such a thing for vintage zodiac stuff. (PS: there is also an Aries and a Pisces at the shop if you are interested, they’re in one of the middle vendor spaces in House, the big huge vintage store where Periodicals Paradise used to be.)
[...] I really don’t approve of 3/4 million dollar one bedroom apartments. But that’s all the rage in the Pearl (and everyone loves to complain about the Pearl). The upcoming “The Casey” at NW 12th and Everett will be just full of these expensive little gems (61 apartments in a 12 story building). Supposedly, about half of these uber-expensive living quarters have already sold. To whom? Like I’ve wondered before, who actually lives in these buildings? Why not just buy a nice place in the West Hills? [...]

[...] Remember the adorable store Noun on Belmont that I mentioned way back in November? It sells a variety of household items for a variety of purposes (including old birdcages that are better for display or ornamentation rather than holding birds). Noun has cookie jars and cups, sugar bowls and flour canisters, furnishings and accessories. [...]
