Easily Won-over

Posted By Lauren

I am amazingly suckered by mirrors, glittering chandeliers, and red drapes. I went to Mama Mia Trattoria last night and it had all these things in abundance, along with stunningly deep red walls and a fountain in the doorway. It made me think that Mama Mia’s might actually be a classy Italian restaurant despite its ridiculous name. The high meal and wine prices also helped persuade me to this decision.

Sadly no number of mirrors, or chandeliers, or draped fabric can make good Italian food. And a stupid name certainly doesn’t help. While I wouldn’t say the food was bad, exactly, I’m fairly angry about paying that amount of money for it. I was totally duped by their interior design.
