Jessica Helgerson Interior Design

Posted By Lauren

Jessica Helgerson is another of the Interior Design listings from the ReDirect Guide that I wanted to point out.

They are big on the “earth tones”. “We use a simple palette of natural materials including reclaimed and sustainably harvested wood, bamboo, natural fiber floor coverings, pigmented plasters, antique furniture and textiles, organic cotton and hemp fabrics.” The company is plenty aware of the toxicity (to us as well as the environment) of many products used to color the home, and promises to use non-toxic paints and finishes.

As far as a sustainable business leader goes, Jessica Helgerson seems like the real deal. She has been a president of The Sustainability Project, served on the board of the Community Environmental Council, and been a member of the Green Building Alliance. She also has a degree in Interior and Environmental Design.
