Interior Design Workout?

Posted By Lauren

This YouTube movie by a Kamela Mirich is neither useful as interior design advice or a workout. But you have to wonder: what was she thinking?

How embarassing.

I’ve always felt that YouTube was better for vanity than advertisement. She’s no exception. Please don’t be this person.

Has anyone out there used YouTube to promote their interior design business in a more appropriate fashion? I’d really be interested to know.

    HI!

Thanks for covering my blog! I’m about to let you in on a little secret…Why was this video made? Ready! It was an audition tape for an upcoming TLC design show (same TV people that created Trading Spaces). All that the casting producer requested was an off beat and high energy demo reel that didn’t include any sort of typical interior design information. They didn’t want a mini version of Trading Spaces or any other design TV show. In fact, I felt like I cheated a bit by having the crafty cool down!

This blog was specifically created for a casting producers & TV executives. I wanted it to be a place that my demo reels for interior design TV show auditions could be quickly accessed. Demo reels are meant to be just that-a demo and not a complete segment. I’m already beginning the process of creating complete segments but that won’t be until the New Year. Please stay tuned!

Now that I’ve read some of your pointers on my blog, I can help your blog out, too.

In the spirit of journalism, written pieces should do inquires or a bit of investigation before publishing information on people or blogs.

I would have loved an email regarding my blog to have cleared up the matter! It’s not that difficult because most people would love to discuss their blog and that would help to validate the information published on your blog. Now, I’m wondering how much information on your blog is even credible.

Everything aside, good luck with your blog & have a happy holiday season!

    Cheers,

    Kamela
